Interview
I applied online through USAJobs.gov. After submitting my application, I received an email about two weeks later inviting me to complete an online assessment. A month after that, I was contacted for a phone interview.
Interview Process:

Phone Interview: A 30-minute structured interview with two IRS employees. They asked behavioral and situational questions using the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result).
Background Check & Fingerprinting: After passing the interview, I had to complete a background check, which included fingerprinting and employment verification. This process took about 4-6 weeks.
