First a phone interview, then an Excel test, then an in person interview based on the results of the test. The phone interview was very weird and it seemed the interviewer was under the impression that I had media experience when I have a data based background. The Excel test was very difficult but I did well enough to get an in person interview. The in person interview was three round with three different people. The first person was the one I spoke with on the phone and she told me she was having a miserable day and barely slept the night before. Not off to a good start, but ok. The entire interview she seemed bored and distracted and was not happy with any of my answers even though I felt I was doing fine with them. She did not answer my follow up questions and said she had something else to do. Very strange, so I figured the interview would be cut short but I met with the two other people anyway. Those two interviews went great and we had excellent conversations. However, the first interviewer would have been my direct manager so I knew I was not getting an offer as soon as I walked out the door. I followed up after and never even got a response from the interviewer.
