Interview was casual, questions were fair and pointed.
Pressured to make a decision in less than a day. When I followed up with my expected salary requirements, they pulled their offer.
Despite initial offer coming in way less than expected, I was happy to listen to how what they described as "limitless commission potential" might help me reach my end goal.
When I asked for clarification on the commissions, and benefits including PTO time (ZERO paid days for the first year?), 401k, and health, they pulled their offer.
We interviewed at 4PM on Friday, and expected me to have a decision for them by Saturday morning.
I can see now that taking my time to make an informed decision ultimately made the decision for me.
This may work for someone else, but this feels like the type of toxic environment I personally am trying to avoid.
