Please note this was for an internal transfer/promotion to a different branch/city.
Started with an informal phone call, then I flew out to meet the local team (all expenses paid), get a feel for the new city and do an in person interview where we took a few hours to get to know each other, eat lunch and pretty mucha ask any questions from either side of the interview. The entire process was fairly informal, but I think this has more to do with the fact that it was an internal hire.
I did have to wait 3 full weeks to hear anything back, there was complete radio silence on the other end and then the hire was quick. I had maybe 3-4 full weeks to close out my existing accounts or transfer them to new managers and move my entire family across the country.
