I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at IKEA (Delft) in Mar 2021
Interview
I had sent out my application in the middle of March 2021 and had not received any news in 2 months. I thought it was a typical recruitment ghosting story. After 2 months, HR contacted me and asked me to schedule an interview the next day. I agreed as I was not extremely busy, but this was already a red flag to me. I had the interview with HR and at the end, they said they will contact me if I am selected to move forward to the next round. To this day I have not received any email. Very disappointing experience which I did not expect from a company like IKEA.

Question 1
Typical HR questions:
- How would you describe yourself?
- What are your strengths?
- Why do you want to work at IKEA?
- etc.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at IKEA in Mar 2024
Interview
Poor communication. They do not respond or inform to applicants for this position. The recruiter was unhelpful and seemed unprepared for the interview. The job description was vague, and it felt like the team had already chosen a candidate and conducted interviews just to meet a quota.

Question 1
- Can you explain how your current work experience relates to this position?
- What is your timeline for relocation, if required?
- Do you understand the scope of this position?
Interview procedure starts with having a quick chat with recruiter of the ikea and followed with a technical group. Time gap between two interviews were huge like a month and took long time to get feedback from them.

Question 1
Explain one of the challanges in your work and your solution for that.
Very lengthy and very rude. Asked for critical feedback and did not reply back. Instead they sent me an email for me to provide feedback. Never got back any feedback.
