      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at IIIT-A (Allahabad) in Jul 2017

      Interview

As with most job interviews, the process varies from school to school. Some will be more formal than others, but most normally consist of two parts. One part is aimed at getting to know you a little better and is likely to be a traditional style interview with a panel of two or three people asking you questions. The other part of the interview is more practical and is aimed at seeing how well you will do in a classroom environment.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Why do you think you're qualified to be a teaching assistant? What role do you think a teaching assistant plays in the classroom? If a small group of kids is constantly disrupting the class by laughing, talking and passing notes, how would you handle the situation? Does it matter if kids find school fun and enjoyable? If the teacher does something you strongly disagree with, how would you handle the situation? Tell me about a time you effectively convinced a child to complete an assignment they didn't want to do initially.
