Completed the cognitive assessment, did a first tound interview with a recruiter and completed a take home assessment. The recruiter was failry cold and rushed. I felt like she didn't have time to speak with me and was annnoyed that she was having our conversation. Very different experience than I've had with other companies.

Interview
One of the main things that attracted me to this company was the fact that they were a start up company in an emerging space with a lot of opportunity for growth and a great culture. Being that fact that I have spent a large majority of my career growing within this space I know exactly what to expect, but I was disappointed and shocked following this interview process and found the company to be extremely unprofessional and unorganized even at a start up level.
After spending 5 hours with a number employees from this company from start to finish and going through a number of behavioral based interviews , I was given a soft offer by the companies head of recruiting. During this phone call I was not only told the main responsibilities of the role/expectations, but the compensation plan and also expected start date, the next steps was that I would receive an offer letter the following morning pending one final approval by the CEO (which was communicated that this should be no problem).
The next afternoon I received a call explaining to me that I was no longer being extended the role and I had been rejected by the executive team due to my lack of seniority and technical abilities. To any candidate this is a huge letdown but during a pandemic at that it made me feel that much more disrespected an that my time was not valuable. Please note that I was NOT once asked about my technical abilities NOR strides I have made throughout my career and was even told on one of my interviews and I quote "we are agnostic to specific skill sets rather we are looking for the next best candidate" from an interviewer.
I saw a lot of opportunities within this company and it was quite the disappointment to be treated in such an unprofessional manner. I do wish the company the best of luck and hope they are able to mature over the years and focus a bit more on candidate experience and understand the importance of it.
