Similar to loads of other reviews and comments, no follow up after interview from the recruitment team, even after I followed up twice.
I’ve heard of similar experiences from contacts/friends also so it must just be how Icon operate but very unprofessional and rude. If someone invests their time in interviewing for your company, the least you can do is send a rejection email.
Unprofessional and not polite at any times asked inappropriate questions and seemed preoccupied with other issues. Not clean and unsanitary staff standing around uninterested and chatting amongst themselves. Not a pleasant first impression at all
The first interview was set up with local HR, and the second interview was set up with the head of local office, and the final interview was set up with the manager of the global head office.
Regular phone screen and then scheduled video interview. During video interview things were great until the hiring manager asked me personal questions about if I’m married and if I’ve family and how old my kids are . This speaks about bias and absolutely unreasonable to ask a female during a main interview. I was completely thrown off because I’ve never been asked such questions while I interviewed for several other companies . Working in such a culture is not only toxic but also shows how these things are considered normal .
