I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ICON (Olathe, KS) in Feb 2019
Interview
1.5 hr interview process with multiple Directors. For the first ten minutes, I was responsible for delivering a PowerPoint presentation to indicate how I would handle one of three scenarios as a Project Manager (topics given in advance). Great topics to choose from. The interviewers then engaged me in discussion about the presentation and any further questions they had.
Remaining time was spent on behavioral questions and general role related questions. Time was allowed for me to ask questions of the Directors as well. The interviewing team was very engaging. Their enthusiasm and feedback was much appreciated!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time where you had to deal with a difficult person at a sponsor company or a difficult PI and how you handled it.
The interview process was generally fine. The interview itself was professional and the appropriate questions for the role were asked. Where the issue arose was after the interview when I was ghosted by the talent acquisition team. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing. I will avoid applying for jobs here in the future and hope no one else has this same experience.

Question 1
Tell me about a time where you needed to relay negative information to a partner/sponsor.
HR asked the candidate to introduction yourself - explain of the job position and the requirements - HR ask candidate to describe the past experience and explain the reason why do you think you would fit into this position - discuss about the benefit part
The interview process is a multi-step journey designed to evaluate a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and overall fit for a specific role within a company. It typically begins when a candidate submits their application, which includes a resume, cover letter, and sometimes a portfolio or additional documents. The employer then conducts a preliminary screening of all submissions, using either human review or automated systems like applicant tracking software to filter out those who most closely match the job criteria.
