My interview process with IAG Loyalty started off well. I had an initial call with HR, which was friendly, efficient, and gave me a clear overview of the role. That was followed by a first-stage interview with the hiring manager, who was also very approachable and easy to speak with. The conversation felt engaging, and overall the experience was positive.
At the end of that stage, I was told I’d hear back within a week regarding the outcome and next steps. Unfortunately, I never received any follow-up—despite sending two polite follow-up emails over the next couple of weeks.
While I understand things can change or roles may be put on hold, not getting any response after progressing through the interview process is disappointing. It reflects poorly on the candidate experience, especially for a company that represents customer and brand loyalty.
I hope they improve their communication going forward, as the early stages were promising.
