Honestly, I believe that Hyve is a great business and is going to do amazing things within the industry. However, they fall very short in their recruitment process. I was fast-tracked through a process that was brilliant. Brilliant people, and I loved speaking to them. However, this is where the great company process stopped. From this point on, there was no contact when I was told in the interview I would hear back, and I was when I chased, I was advised that they are interviewing other people and once they are at the same stage as me, that I would hear back. This was completely fair enough.
However, whenever I was given a time when I would hear back, I never did, so I followed up. Got the same email and new dates for more times. When the final time period had passed, NOTHING! I left it a few days and when when I sent a chase, I recieved and copy and pasted reply.
I am not upset about not getting the role. I'm upset about the company wasting the amount of time they have and the lack of basic respect to provide any feedback about the role.
I'm not gonna say anything negative about the business as I still believe that the business is great; however, the recruitment process needs to improve. As it's not respectful to candiates.
