I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Huniford Design Studio in Jan 2023
Interview
This was the most painful, awkward zoom. You will generally know within the first two minutes how you feel about the company and I couldn't wait to get this over with, even thinking to myself that I want to say on the spot that I'm not interested. This man didn't even introduce himself, good thing I did my research. The first question is always "tell me about yourself" and after I did, I was asked if I have any questions. So basically I was the one guiding the interview. Ooooof I couldn't wait for it to end. I sent an email after that I am not interested. Then I proceeded to come here and read the reviews and oh man, the reviews are real, people!! Save yourself time.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Huniford Design Studio in Feb 2023
Interview
Zoom call with the owner of the firm. Interview was quick and easy. He questioned all of my portfolio. He was a bit intimidating but it was fine. I didn’t want to work there.

Question 1
Everything that was on my portfolio. Timeline was important. Why did I want to leave my current job.
Very pleasant meeting with the studio and owner. He seemed to care about the right candidate being chosen and integrating them properly with the rest of the team. I would hope more companies are like this
