Humane World for Animals interview questions

Across four separate interview processes at this organization — one when I first joined, two internal promotions, and one recent role — the pattern was consistent: extremely long timelines, lack of communication, and no meaningful feedback. These issues weren’t one-offs; they were systemic and repeated over several years. Initial application: When I was first hired, the interview and decision process took seven months. I assumed it was an anomaly due to restructuring or workload. It was not. Internal promotions: I applied for two internal roles during my tenure. In both cases, communication stalled for months. I received no feedback, no timeline updates, and no clarity about next steps. Both processes ended without transparency and were discouraging enough to impact morale. Most recent interview: After interviewing for a new role, the organization went completely silent for over three weeks. No follow-up, no closure, no status update. I ultimately accepted another job elsewhere and notified them myself.

Had a first round interview, and that's it, no follow up after two and a half weeks, so I think the job is off the market for me. Interview screener didn't seem to know my resume at all, the actual job I was getting interviewed for, or have any interest in my work history, other than if I have had used their non-profit niche CRM software, Engaging Networks (basically a drag and drop form creator/email builder (eg Mailchimp)/landing page generator), and if I was willing to work for their low salary. Yay tech industry downturn.
