Email asking for availability for a phone call / initial screening. This "screening" was not a screening as advertised, but an actual interview by the recruiter that took around 45 minutes, only because I cut my answers short after getting irritated. I cut these short because the recruiter asked the same question 7 different times, 7 different ways. It felt like I was losing my mind. When I was noticeably getting annoyed and asked, "can I just use the same answer as that is the same question but worded differently?", she was not happy that I called this out. It seemed like she was reading from a script, but the conversation and repeated question simply did not flow or was relevant to the position after the second time around. It was one of the most confusing and unprofessional "screening calls" I have ever had. Comparably, the pay posted is also about 20-30K less than the market average, just a heads up.
