Interview
Applied online and was contacted about two weeks later for an interview. Straightforward and pretty standard interview--asked me about myself, my interests, where I want my career to go, my availability during the semester, etc.

Question 1
What makes HRF different from other human rights organizations?
phone call, kinda long. generic questions. they basically told me i will be serving coffee in other ways lol. they told me that even though I have experience with immigration law and I speak a bunch of languages, I will be mainly doing office work. For an UNPAID internship its not worth it.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Human Rights First (Raleigh, NC) in Apr 2015
Interview
Interview was very basic and only lasted 15 minutes on the phone. I was disappointed in the generic nature of the questions. The interviewer was nice but I believed it was too short for them to truly get a good idea of what I could offer the company. I would have appreciated them asking me more specific questions where I could share what I hoped to get out of the internship
