      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Huffington Post (New York, NY)

      Interview

Huff Post was advertising numerous job openings so I sent my resume and cover letter to the indicated address. A few days later I got a response asking for a time for an interview. We set up an interview, which lasted about 30 minutes. I was asked about my background, what kind of news I'm interested in and how I use social media. I was then welcomed to ask any questions I had, which I did. The editor emailed me back a few days later saying they liked my background but wanted someone with more breaking news experience.

      Question 1

      - How do you use Twitter for professional purposes? - What's a story out right now that you think should be covered? - Do you have a specialization/beat? - Are you comfortable working a desk job?
