I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at HuffPost in Mar 2025
Interview
Pretty standard. You apply online. Next, you'll be contacted by the recruiting team/HR to schedule a phone interview. If the phone call goes well, you'll have a video meeting with the editors who manage [job title]. That's as far as I made it, but I was told that the next steps include an edit test and a final panel interview.

There were a few questions that asked for a specific example of [xyz] from my career. ("Tell me about a time you disagreed with your boss/were wrong about something/received negative feedback. How did you handle it?")
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at HuffPost (Sydney) in Jan 2020
Interview
The first part of the interview process was a brief phone interview. This was followed by two in person interviews and an editing task. Thorough process but team members who interviewed me were warm, friendly and welcoming.
