Had two stage interviews, first stage was with manager and with hr, fairly general questions. I asked the manager about the work to assess what I might get involved in. Second stage, interviewer asked very basic questions but also quite stupid questions, I further asked about the role. Basically, they committed employment fraud by stating knowledge graph, machine learning, and NLP in the role as about 3/4s of the job description mentioned these requirements. But, by end of second stage after asking questions I found the person would not be doing any of those things as their separate research team did that work. They are basically misleading candidates by having a job description that does not match the role. The interviewers are also very arrogant and had literally no practical experience. How can you do research work without knowing how to code. They basically need an engineer to materialize and refactor their research work, how pointless is that for business to hire such utterly useless people who have no practical experience.

They will ask you to introduce yourself then will proceed to technical questions. When you say technical terms or ideas, make sure that you can explain those because the interviewers also ask based on your answers.
