I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Houston Methodist (Houston, TX) in Jan 2024
Interview
Very straight forward, not bad at all- scenario based questions and also behavioral questions- things about confronting an issue with staff of a patient etc. I thought it was pretty well. They were just too short staff and I did not want the risk

Behavioral based questions and scenario with a panel
The recruiter got back to me within a month and a half after going to the online job fair. Took one week to meet with the manager and another week to meet with directors.

Question 1
What experience do you have in the particular care area?
They asked both clinical and personality questions. The clinical questions were applicable to the department which I applied for. It is good to be informed of the hospital's values, ICARE, and how you would apply that to your practice.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Houston Methodist (Houston, TX) in Sept 2024
Interview
I applied to the ED with 3 years of experience in the ED prior, the interview was about 20 minutes long. She didn’t really ask any basic questions like
“Tell me about yourself” it was mostly experience based questions to gauge how much knowledge I had. She asked me questions on Stroke, Sepsis, and DKA. What to do for these pt, what the protocol was, what was most important etc. it’s pretty easy and straightforward of you know what to do with these pt, but if you don’t then it will obviously be more difficult! She also asked how I would deal with pt family members and a time that I’ve made a medical error and what I did to fix it. Pretty easy interview if you know the how to treat the most common things that come into the ER. They called me the next day and extended an offer!
