      Patient Access Representative Interview

      31 Aug 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Houston, TX
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Houston Methodist (Houston, TX) in Aug 2018

      Interview

Submitted tons of resumes. Got call for in person interview after 1 month. Terrible experience. Recruiter gave me directions to park in garage that is knowingly full every afternoon. Why give instructions to park here if you know it is full? Called recruiter and she gave directions to 2nd garage. So hot outside and super annoying. By the time I got to the interview, it was clear they already had an internal candidate picked and they were simply interviewing to meet recruiting numbers. Received automated email stating I didn't receive position. Very disingenuous and tacky. At least send a personal email. I've found Methodist to be one of the most unpleasant interview experiences. They also should realize it is an employees market so they have very little room to be arrogant.
