I applied through university. I interviewed at Housecall Pro (San Diego, CA) in Nov 2020
Interview
I had 2 rounds of interview. I got the first round after 1-2 months meeting the recruiter at the UCSD career fair. And then another few weeks for the second round. After that I did not hear back until two months later. Their whole process is very slow. I met the recruiter at the career fair in October 2020 and received my second round rejection in December 2020
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
In the first round, I had to code in any language to see if an input is a valid zipcode. Afterwards the questions were behavioral. Other questions were:
-When do you know a product is ready to be shipped?
-Difference between inheritance and composition
-What do you do when you get stuck on a problem?
-Clean code principles
-Runtimes of HashTables
Second round had 2 coding questions. First one was to design a clock that would let you set the time and increment as many seconds given. Second one was about creating your own stack data structures.
