The interview process at Honeywell for the Software Developer position began with an initial HR screening where I was asked about my background, skills, and availability. This was followed by an online coding assessment that tested my problem-solving abilities using data structures and algorithms. After clearing that, I had a technical interview where I was asked about my project work, programming concepts, and language-specific questions. The next round was managerial, focusing on my approach to teamwork, deadlines, and real-world problem-solving scenarios. Finally, the HR round covered compensation, work culture, and onboarding details. Overall, the process was structured, and each step aimed to assess both technical and behavioral fit.

Asked about how encryption works.
Discussed how secure communication is established between systems.
Talked about basic network security principles.
Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA):
Questions on array manipulation, string operations, and problem-solving.
Focus on optimizing solutions for time and space complexity.
Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs):
Explained the four pillars of OOP: Encapsulation, Inheritance, Polymorphism, and Abstraction.
Asked how I’ve applied these concepts in real-world projects or academic work.
Recruiter call (45 mins) and main round met with 3 people and talked. One leetcode medium, behavioral, and one system design. Overall process was smooth and would not worry to much just make sure you study.

Interview was smooth. Asked questions from dot net core, web api, entity framework. Good knowledge on topics. Technical discussion. Oops concepts. Linq, Angular, frame works. Security on dotnet return types of web api
