First interview with their recruitment agency who was acting as a first interview. Went well, agency was very professional and friendly. They mentioned to me the CFO was quiet and poker faced.
Second interview with HR advisor and CFO.
The HR advisor asked normal HR type questions and was friendly. The CFO was quite young and showed no personality or gave me any reasons for me to want to work there when I asked about career progression there. Asked some competency based questions which was fine, but then asking about A-Level results, when that was some years ago and I have several post graduate qualifications came across as anal and slightly rude.
Third stage 3 x 1 hour verbal reasoning, numeric reasoning and logical reasoning tests sent out via SHL. Was given 48 hours to do them. I had back to back meetings and social events planned. I did them at 5am in the morning over two days.
Then a final interview was scheduled for the following week. The end of the week I heard they wanted to cancel the interview because apparently I didn't get high enough marks on the reasoning tests. On the practice tests I got 80% on two and 100% on another and given the time fame I was given I thought that they would cancel the third interview really just summed up what I have felt about the whole interview process thus far. Cold, lacking in personality and no emotional intelligence. Don't think it's the kind of Company to work for if you are a people person.
