Don't work here. They're bad people. They haze new employees and instruct them to lie to customers in order to push products. They have you show them your "talent" in the interview... mostly its just an excuse to make fun of you for whatever it was. You bring in cookies? They're getting thrown out. You bring art? It's criticized. Do you play an instrument? They going to trash you as soon as you leave.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Hippie Gypsy
Interview
They asked a bunch of funny and general questions. Asked me to talk about myself. It lasted approx 30 minutes. It was pretty low key... I remember they asked a lot of questions about past employment and responsibilities.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Hippie Gypsy (Tucson, AZ) in Mar 2011
Interview
You bring in a "creative application" which they are intentionally vague on detailing and do a very short back and forth. Very basic and typical, have energy. It was a group interview and you had to make sure you were heard. Asked about transportation, availability, retail knowledge, basic stuff. One question that was unusual was if we were afraid of heights because all employees are required to use them if need be for wall displays etc.
