      Tenant Service Coordinator Interview

      6 Aug 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Atlanta, GA
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Hines (Atlanta, GA) in May 2020

      Interview

Pretty simple and easy. Phone screen with the hiring manager. Video interview with hiring manager and colleague. Video interview with potential peers. All of the questions were basic interview questions and property management related. Everyone I spoke with was friendly. I followed up with HR 2 weeks after. HR responded that they were in the decision making process, but never reached out again to say that they were moving forward with another candidate.

      Interview

The interview process is very comfortable and insightful. Not only do you get a good sense of what the company is about and what the job is about, but you are also able to speak and express yourself freely.

      Tenant Services Coordinator Interview

      21 Jan 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Hines in Dec 2019

      Interview

Applied through LinkedIn. Received an interview request 3 days later. Was an in person interview with the two Assistant Property Managers. Straightforward questions, wanted to get to know myself personally and see if I was a fit culturally. Lasted around 30 minutes. Received a call two days later for the next round of interviews with the General Manager. Again, straightforward and easy questions, more of a conversation and wanting to know if I was a fit for the team. Lots of team dynamic questions. Was called and brought in for a 3rd interview with the Director of Operations. Again, fairly straightforward, the questions were more "results" orientated and wanted to see what results I have produced in the past. Afterwards, Nothing. Followed up a week later with no response. I understand that things can happen and delay the hiring process. Another two weeks past and I emailed the other Assistant Property Manager (not in charge of the hiring process), got back to me within 20 minutes and then 30 minutes later I received an email from the hiring Property Manager stating that the position was offered to another candidate. Felt that it was fairly unprofessional to bring myself into 3 interviews and then I have to follow up on two separate occasions to get an answer weeks later. Looking at all of the other interview reviews, it seems to be a common theme. Proactive communication in the beginning, then just silence. It takes two minutes to call someone or send an email stating that the position was offered elsewhere. Leaving people without an answer is very frustrating.
