I applied through university. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Hillstone Restaurant Group (New York, NY) in Mar 2014
Interview
Overall a fairly long process - applied on December 5th, final decision exactly 4 months and 4 interviews later. Interacted primarily with one woman from HR who was extremely friendly, professional, and prompt. After the application, I had one basic phone interview followed by two slightly more intensive skype interviews. Both were behavioral with no particularly difficult questions. The final interview was a 7 hour "realistic job preview" at a restaurant in Manhattan. Most of it was shadowing different positions, but there was two more one on one interviews and a written aptitude test. Decided it wasn't for me and didn't get an offer.

Question 1
How would you establish leadership among those older than you?
Applied through University. Contacted by head of HR a couple days later over the phone to schedule an in person interview at one of their restaurants. Mostly focused on my background, experience and personal qualities. Told me she would discuss with the Hiring team and emailed me back about a week later telling me I wasn't the right fit.
