Sent my application on Indeed and received an email from the recruiter within 30 minutes. We scheduled an initial phone call for the first day which went very well. Communication went quickly and that afternoon we had scheduled a 1-hour phone interview with the hiring manager. The phone interview went very well, the team seemed exciting and the workflow sounded like something I would have enjoyed. I was asked a few interview questions which I felt went very well. I mentioned an instance in my experience when the Highspot product would have been very useful, to which the interviewer said most candidates don't understand the product that well. Overall I felt if there was a ball to hit out of the park, I did. I sent the follow up thank you email to the recruiter (the point of contact) and never heard back. A week later I checked and noticed the job opening was not available, and emailed the recruiter to let him know I enjoyed my interview process and am still interested in opportunities at Highspot. I never heard back from anyone at Highspot to inform me the position was no longer available or any other information. I was disappointed that they chose not to contact me if they were so excited about me as a candidate. I live in the Greater Seattle Area and really believed in the success of their product and company. I wish they would have followed through on communication with their candidates because it is the professional thing to do.
