Applied through Zip Recruiter, they called to ask me preliminary questions (basic) then asked me to come in to interview. They had a series of us lined up for ~20 minute discussion with a sales director (Chris Zepponi) who asked basic questions then explained their "one and done" sell from their script process.
Bottom line - since they are a high-pressure, sell it on the first meeting business model, they are looking for trustworthy image/people.
CAUTION: They have a 10-step sales process/script to sell $8.75/watt solar - minimum - for lower quality panels. Their "base price" for a PV system is double what a premium SunPower system sells for! That's why they want to build the illusion of trust to lock in a sale on the first meeting. A direct quote from Chris, "If we don't sell on the first meeting, then this business doesn't exist." Of course it won't! Anyone who has time to do their due diligence will discover a far better value.
Chris himself was nice, but still has a "sales-y" demeanor, which doesn't work for me. I'm not knocking the operation and other people, but keep in mind they had to change their name at least once, to refresh a tarnished image. Just things to keep in mind. If you are OK with this kind of sale and company, then it's probably a fit for you. I ended up declining them.
