I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Hi Mum Said Dad (London, England)
Interview
Initial 3 round stage, with a portfolio and case study review in presentation format, plus an added on final stage interview where another task was added on. Indecisive leadership and poor communication everywhere. Said their Senior Strategist handed in their notice but is still working there today, so they didn’t have the integrity to tell the truth. Do yourself a massive favour and don’t bother with a company that doesn’t know what they want and lies to candidates.

Interview
I was interviewed by a total diva who epitomised everything I hate within the UX design industry. He got upset when I declined to show previous work that was under NDA. I respect my clients wishes - makes me wonder if HMSD don't do the same for theirs.

Question 1
Show me past Figma files you no longer have access to and are under NDA 😂

Interview
It’s a very informal application process. The “family-orientated” company wants to get a feel for your vibe whilst getting to know your skills and experiences. It’s refreshing to have the chance to meet the employers face-to-face without having to complete numerous stages of tests and screenings.
