One of the company founder's reached out to see if I'd be interested in applying. Once I responded, their main recruiter reached out for a call to discuss the details of the job and to confirm that I'd like to continue the interview process.
I spoke with five separate people over the course of a week and a half. All of the interviewers had separate rolls and responsibilities, so after speaking with all of them it gave me a good idea of the overall culture of the company from different perspectives.
I'd say half of each interview was pretty similar, providing a brief history of yourself and answering questions about specific experiences. From there the rest of the time was spent getting a perspective on the company's current state and where they'd like to see the company go. I went through a coding exercise with one interviewer, but it was mostly discussion, not an emphasis on actual coding semantics/syntax. Every person I spoke to was engaged and a pleasure to speak with.
