I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at HealthKart (Gurgaon, Haryana) in May 2019
Interview
I interviewed for a backend developer position.
There were 5 interviews in all. 1 theoretical java quiz + 3 technical interviews + 1 HR discussion.
Overall, the interview process was not very well managed. I had to travel to their office twice and was made to wait over an hour each time.
After the HR discussion, I was told the offer letter would be shared by the end of the day. They eventually took 6 days to share the 'offer', which just had the salary breakup. They expect you to wait a week for the offer and then accept straightaway without even a formal offer letter. I asked for a day to consider and eventually declined. After declining, I started getting angry calls from the recruiter and their HR.
Interview questions [4]
Question 1
The first round consisted of theoretical java questions that most people would need to brush up on. Questions were mostly around exception handling, collections, hibernate etc. There were also a couple of puzzles.
1st F2F interview had basic questions on DS like reversing a String, internal working of hash map, difference between string literal and new string object in java etc.
3rd F2F interview was with the Head of Technology. I felt this was basically a formality where he was gauging the cultural and technical fit. There were a couple of very basic tech questions.
