The process from application to scheduling the interview was very professional. The interview itself was satisfactory. However, during the interview, I learned more about the company and the role, realizing that they aim to handle ESG matters inexpensively since there is no dedicated ESG manager. They mentioned working with a consultant for ESG issues, but it became clear that an assistant, rather than a manager, would handle ESG responsibilities, which is not a good sign. In the middle of the interview, I realised that I had more ESG knowledge than the interviewers and lost interest. Additionally, they informed me that they had interviewed candidates the previous day and would continue doing so. At the reception, I could see the names of other visitors meeting with the hiring manager, which is unprofessional and a GDPR concern.
