I met with the current Social Media Specialist for an over the phone interview. She was really nice and informed me that this was a temporary position. The phone interview lasted around 20-25 minutes. From there, she wanted to move forward and provided me with an "audit" form the fill out. There was no deadline but I gave myself two days. It was five questions including social media strategy and how to improve it. I also had to create a "swipe-up" that one would use to post on Instagram. After I sent the audit, I never heard back from them. I sent two follow-up emails in regards to where I stood but still heard nothing. It was very disappointing as I had worked really hard on the audit. I would have at least expected a follow up kindly stating that I did not get the job. In the future, it would be helpful to just notify the candidate that they did not get the job instead of never following up or responding to emails.
