I was actually blitzed with a phone screen by an HR representative. Instead of emailing to set up a time to speak they called me and immediately laid into the questions without asking if it was a good time to talk. That seemed to set the tone for the rest of the interview process. When I received the offer they expected an answer on the phone straight away. Taking the job meant moving to another state so I bought myself time to consider the offer and ultimately I turned down the position.
