I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Hands-On Labs (Englewood, CO)
Interview
Originally the company went through a work agency to contact me. But because they are so cheap and unscrupulously underhanded at this place, they ended up bypassing the work agency and made an employment offer to me directly. This cheated the agency out of their finder's fee or other cut of the pie they rightly deserved!
I should have used this as a signal not to work here. I am so glad not to be working at Hands On Labs any more.

Question 1
The most disappointing thing about the interview process was that the shallow professionalism the owners of this place demonstrated does not at all reflect the environment while actually working here. This place has a massive employee turn over. Be forewarned.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Hands-On Labs (Englewood, CO) in Mar 2011
Interview
Group style with 8-10 employees and different departments involved; interview time lasts about 2 hours.
Ask interviewers about their work and management style, ask employees how they like working at HOL; the answers to these questions will provide valuable insight.
The interview process is awkward for the interviewee and the employees alike. A highly qualified candidate will be passed by if he/she exhibits any initiative, competence, forward-thinking traits. The interviewee will be told how they will play a role in growing the company by utilizing his/her skill set; however, it is misleading. Unfortunately, once in the position, any of these traits will be dismissed and attitude from management will be "I am the decision-maker and you are not." (This is a direct quote from a manager.)
