I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Hampton Inn by Hilton (Visalia, CA) in Jun 2014
Interview
The application was in person and it took about a day for the manager to call me back. It was a really short interview since I had no experience of any type of past job what so ever. So the manager asked me more about personal questions like clubs I was in in High School and my strength and weakness. The manager also asked me about what information I knew about the Hampton Inn and so on.

Interview
They used paper for the application. It was not easy to get a call. I had to keep going in until the front desk manager just took me back to speak with the General Manager. The environment was very laid back.

Question 1
I don't remember exact questions since it was more like a conversation about the position and expectations. There was a lot of emphasis on using common sense, wisdom and being professional.
Sat down with on site manager. It was a very comfortable and easy process. He explained the different jobs available at this location. We decided what would be the best fit for me.

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Hampton Inn by Hilton in Nov 2015
Interview
Very short interview. It seemed like the interviewer had never looked at my resume before and made very strange faces while looking over qaulifications. Overall I felt really uncomfortable off the bat. He asked weird questions I had never been asked at an interview before, while using an unimpressed tone and body movements. Not really sure why I was called in because he seemed very displeased my qaulifications.. left very bad taste in my mouth for hampton and will probably avoid hampton hotels in my future.
