I recently went through a three-stage interview process with Haleon for an Expert Marketing position, and although I wasn’t selected in the end, I can genuinely say this was the best recruitment experience I’ve had to date. I say that as someone with 14 years of marketing experience across multiple CPG companies — including 8 years as a hiring manager — so I’ve seen a lot.
The process was exceptionally well-structured and respectful:
Stage 1: HR Interview (Phone Screening) – The recruiter was warm, approachable, and highly professional. He clearly outlined the steps ahead, shared meaningful insights into Haleon’s culture, and added an inspiring touch that made me even more enthusiastic about the opportunity.
Stage 2: Hiring Manager Interview – A thoughtful, engaging, two-way conversation. The hiring manager was incredibly approachable and gave a strong sense of the team’s collaborative spirit and leadership style.
Stage 3: Peer & Internal Stakeholder Interview – This final stage was a seamless, open discussion with a future peer and an internal customer (Marketing Director). It offered valuable insights into the business, strategic priorities, and challenges — and was conducted in an open and easygoing atmosphere.
Even after the interviews, Haleon impressed me by providing thoughtful and constructive feedback. I sincerely appreciated the transparency and the respectful communication throughout the process.
All in all, Haleon stands out as an employer that genuinely values people — even those outside the organization. I’m grateful for the experience and will carry a very positive impression of the company and team.
