The interview process went very smoothly. Through longstanding networking, I had established previous relationships with the team. They knew my work-ethic, skillset and personality and confirmed with others on the team. With that prior relationship, the process went quickly and smoothly.

Question 1
The interviewers wanted to know my interest level in a newly created position in an area I had prior experience in. While I wasn't presently looking, I was hoping a similar opportunity would arise in this area, which was something I was greatly interested in.
