I applied in-person. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at HSBC (Bristol, England) in Jan 2023
Interview
Excellent particularly like the stage process . A real advantage was initially just submitting a CV as feel this mitigates any inaccuracies/ over enhanced skills. The HR teams were amazing too

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you provided a bespoke client solution
It was quite intense- 3 interviews back to back 45 mins each with a member of the business. invited to assessment centre for internship after initial online rounds. hr was very friendly and chatty, business members were harsher and some asked questions beyond scope of role
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HSBC (Singapore) in Apr 2026
Interview
The interview process was smooth, professional, and welcoming throughout. The conversation with the hiring manager and deputy head felt engaging and conversational rather than overly formal, which made the overall experience comfortable and enjoyable.
Both interviewers were friendly, personable, and took the time to understand my background and experiences. One thoughtful touch that stood out was that one of the interviewers chose to sit beside me instead of directly across the table, which made the discussion feel less intimidating and more like a genuine conversation.
Although I was ultimately not selected for the role, the hiring manager was kind enough to refer me internally to another hiring manager who was looking to fill a position within her team, which I genuinely appreciated.
Overall, it was a very positive and pleasant interview experience.
online job simulation and then an online assessment centre that lasts around 3 hours. Get a feedback report quickly before getting the result of application after a few weeks. Fairly easy process
