      IM Graduate Program, E Interview

      19 Nov 2011
      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

The process took 1 day. I interviewed at HSBC (London, England) in Nov 2011

      Interview

Heard from a friend, applied online, and did 2 online tests. Passed both and received a couple of weeks later an invitation to the first round interview on phone. Schedule a suitable time. The interviewer was very friendly. Went through the interview structure to let me know what kind of interview it is. The interview itself consisted mostly of management consulting like questions: "how would you handle this specific problem within a group?" and scenario based questions which has to be explained in the smallest details. This can be very difficult if you haven´t prepared several layers of examples. The topics they will focus on is however your drive, leadership skills and your team playing skills.
