Interview
From start to finish, this interview process was clunky at best. Right out the gate, it wasn't clear which organization I was applying to - HCA or Parallon. I have two friends who work at each company respectively and even they had serious issues navigating the referral process. Both were told they they would not receive credit for referring me since the role wasn't in their departments and their own HR reps didn't know where to refer them...????!?!? I initially got a rejection email for this role and hours later got an email from the recruiter asking for my phone number because he couldn't locate it on my profile?? Even though it was at the top of my resume. The next day I got a phone call from the hiring manager who left a voicemail saying that she had been trying to email me times to interview. I got no email. I called her back, we chatted and booked a time she and the Director would be available for a WebEx call. I also informed her I hadn't received an email. She called back 5 minutes later and needed to change the time of the interview and realized my email had a typo in the address. The screen with the hiring manager and director went very well and I really enjoyed meeting them and hearing about the team. They asked really great (and challenging questions) and I appreciate the time and effort they put in to ensuring they get the right candidate for their team. I found it very odd that the first round of this process was directly with the hiring manager and at no point was salary or total compensation brought up. At the end of the hiring manager screen they informed me that they are looking to hire quickly and I should hear something in the next few weeks (that is not quick). 24 hours later, I get a call from the initial recruiter who emailed me to ask for my phone number. He informed me that the hiring manager loved me and wanted him to send over my candidate profile. It was then he realized my salary expectations were out of range for the role. Like way WAY out of range for the role. I told him I could not make $65-75k work for a manager role in Nashville, TN with a masters degree and politely removed myself from the process. He didn't even try to inquire about any other roles he could refer me to in order to keep me interested in the company. I'm very confused at HCA's (or Parallon's). referral, interview, and compensation processes. They don't align with their values or help attract top talent. There is zero incentive for current employees to refer their friends and former co-workers.. I'm not sure I'll be applying again. I know some really great Employer Brand and Talent Attraction folks that can help remedy this if you're interested!
Phone screening, management assessment, and then a panel with former MITs and a panel with directors. Basic interview, the recruiter reads off a script for the phone screening and then doesn’t really interact after that. Randomly got an email for the panel interview after crickets.

Interview
I applied online, from there you have to do a behavioral assessment. After that, I had an interview with a recruiter. This was probably one of the worst recruiters I've ever had a conversation with. Not only was she late to giving me a call, she jumped right in to telling me about the role, and was speaking so quickly I could barely notate what she was saying. Then she only asked me 3 questions, and with each response I gave, it's like she didn't even actually listen to what I was saying because her response to me was robotic and vague, like reciting her replies from memory or a paper. The interview questions were all the ones you see listed here under the reviews for the MIT role. Received a decline email at 8pm at night, 4 days later. Pretty disappointing considering I prepped for like 4 hours!

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you were in a leadership position? What is you biggest weakness? Since you have some healthcare experience, do you have a preference on what area you want to work in hospital/Doctors office and what department?

Interview
Straightforward, no gotcha questions, two rounds. It just explains more about the role and provides the opportunity to ask questions. Tell me about yourself, what makes you a good fit for the role, ect.
