Call with recruiter, then interview panel with designers and managers. Shared my online portfolio and answered questions about my process. Easy because I came ready to share my case studies specific to healthcare.

Can you walk through your decisions specifically on component library
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at HCA Healthcare (Nashville, TN) in Dec 2022
Interview
After submitting a resume, completed an online personality test before a phone interview with managing director lasting around an hour. Second round was with the entire UX team around 15 people with a portfolio presentation and then a full team Q&A. The process was quite long and became clear that they job posting and what the team was looking for was two very different roles.
After speaking to a lead designer, there is a team interview that includes the entire design team. I was not prepared to see 8 people in a webex call. Questions vary from personal "getting to know you" to IQ. Midway I felt that their initial personality questions were disingenuous and I had no idea what they were aiming at. If there are this many designers with this many questions, I'd say that is definitely a red flag. The role was not senior and I have never experienced something that extreme for similar roles.
