      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at H&R Block

      Interview

Received an email to complete an online qualifying test. Pretty comprehensive. Short time after, received a call from a recruiter to set up in person interview. Met with District Managers and another District Ops Coordinator. Have not heard back following that interview, however have seen the position re-posted.

      District Ops Coordinator Interview

      8 Feb 2013
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Glendale, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

I interviewed at H&R Block (Glendale, CA)

      Interview

I applied for this job online and was sent a link for an assessment. It wouldn't work under the current version of internet explorer (or past versions), so I used firefox. I was able to start the assessment and had no problems until I came to a section that was timed. It came up completely blank, and you could not refresh or do anything to correct it other than to exit, after which the assessment continued. Because this section could not be completed (obviously the most important as they said you would be penalized if you didn't finish a question in the time limit) I'm sure I automatically failed and within hours received an automated no-reply message saying I would not be considered for the role. There was nobody to contact about the problem, you can't even send an E-mail to H&R Block. I was very qualified for the role, very disappointed as to how this was executed.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Mostly general, the timed assessment, if I had been given a chance to do it, reflected handling pressures and priorities
