Initial interview with the hiring team followed by an onsite interview. If you can get past the zero communication aspect that HR seems to pride themselves on, then this might be a good company to work for. Offer declined after little explanation was given on why a background check took over a month to complete, in addition to expectations being set without acknowledging previous communication (eg, background check completed on a Monday and I was asked if I could start the next Monday, even though I had explicitly stated several times throughout the process that I would need to give notice to my previous job once the check was complete), further indicating that my hiring process had little importance to the person whose job it is to facilitate the process.
I don’t want my negative review to take away from the people that I actually interviewed with/was set to work alongside; the team was extremely kind and definitely seemed like a good fit. Shame that poor recruitment circumvented a plausible candidacy.
