I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Greg Smith Equipment (Indianapolis, IN)
Interview
Interview was great very professional and very organized. I put in my Application and I had a interview the following day, interview went great and I got the offer the same day.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Greg Smith Equipment (Norcross, GA) in Dec 2016
Interview
Very lengthy, but not many personal questions were asked of my background, capabilities, desires, or experience. Interviewer seemed almost to despise the company, but liked his job. Didn't really explain what was needed for the job or why I was being interviewed. He did go into some detail about what he didn't like, and spent considerable time outlining who he had fired and why so I suppose I got the message. But I had to ask what my specific duties would be, and how I'd be expected to learn the products?
He said "just go to the website". Really? I gather he's a very competent guy, but it seems to me if he wants competent people working for him he has to let them know at least what he wants them to learn, and how he wants them to do what he expects. He did neither for me, just suggested I would eventually learn what works best. Not very encouraging.
