      III/IV Spanish Elementary Teacher Interview

      29 Apr 2020
      Anonymous employee
      New York, NY
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Green Ivy Schools (New York, NY) in Feb 2020

      Interview

They answered my email fast and asked me to answer some general questions and record some videos about myself online. After that, I had a 1:1 online interview with HR and later on with the head of the school. They finally invited me to visit school and give a 30 minutes demo lesson with the kids. After the demo lesson I received some feedback from the school staff and then, they offered me the position. In general the process was longer than I am used to in my personal experience back in Spain but the HR was very nice and helpful and guided me through all the process. The previous visit to the school helped me a lot for the lesson because I had the opportunity to better have a sense of the class. Overall I am pleased with the experience.
