I gave the first test, "English aptitude test" and it was more like iq test than the english one, there were simple iq questions that you have to solve quickly and calculator is not allowed too.

I was contacted via LinkedIn for a Backend Developer position and was informed there would be an English aptitude test. I prepared accordingly, expecting a language-based assessment. However, when the interview began, there was a delay of about 10 minutes before the session resumed, and the provided link turned out to be for an IQ test, not an English test. There was also a request during the interview to have pen and paper ready, which had not been communicated in advance. Since I was under the impression this was a language test, I hadn’t prepared any writing materials. Before the assessment started, it was stated that the role required working 12 hours a day for $600/month, which is far below standard pay for the workload described. Feedback: Lack of transparency about the test content and required materials. Unclear and inconsistent communication during the process. Compensation offered appeared unrealistic for the expected hours. Recommendation: Would not recommend unless you are comfortable with minimal communication, unexpected changes, and extremely low pay.
