I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Great Schools Partnership (Portland, ME) in Aug 2023
Interview
A zoom call where I was asked a series of "describe a time when...". I am not very good at answering vague questions about some event that they wanted to be impactful from my past. If I am able to respond to the questions that quickly, I'm probably still holding a grudge about it. Not once during the interview did the two people on the call ask me about my experience or my qualifications. Which means they were making a judgement about whom to see for a second interview based on whomever can talk a good game - not the people actually qualified to do the work.

Question 1
Describe a time when you had a differing opinion from a superior and how did you handle it.

Interview
I applied online and a few weeks later, participated in an easy phone screening. Came in for a panel interview after that. Really had my heart set on the job and was led to believe I stood a good chance. Was told that there was room in the budget to bring someone new on and was told that they would be in touch in a week. Two and a half weeks later, the "entry-level" job was given to someone overqualified who already worked there (and whose previous job was eliminated). The people seemed nice, but to be brought in for interview for a job that they had already decided would go to someone else is dishonest. Incredibly disappointed with this organization.
