I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Great Clips (Denver, CO) in Jan 2011
Interview
All they care about is that you're licensed. They like flexible schedules that will require you to work nights and weekends. Depending on the store and how busy it is, they want experienced stylist because its too hard to train you in busy shops .... if store is slow they will hire straight out of school and send you to special training.
It was super relaxed for the most part. They mostly asked questions about my background and previous customer experience jobs. How I handled certain situations, why or why not I'd be a good fit. Standard interview stuff,

We appreciate you sharing the interview process! Thank you for the feedback.
They did an in person interview and a technical interview, it wasn't too hard of an interview process. The technical is intimidating at first but its not too bad and the manager was friendly.

I got an immediate call after applying online. A recruiter took me out for coffee and a quick chat. They offer a lot training so they focus more on advertising what your job could be like if you accept the job offer.
