I interviewed at Gravity Climate (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
The process moved quickly and everyone I met was friendly and responsive, which I appreciated. The rounds were well-coordinated, and there were no surprises on timing or logistics.
The disconnect for me was that the JD and the conversations leaned heavily on wanting someone tenured and technical – deep carbon accounting, complex enterprise cycles, technical fluency, but the interview itself didn't really pressure-test any of that. No deal mechanics walkthrough, no real probing on Scope 3 or framework knowledge, no roleplay or working session. It made it hard to get a read on the bar, the team I'd be selling alongside, or whether the role was actually as technical as advertised.
If you're a senior IC evaluating Gravity, I'd push for a working session
